About Me

Jack Angele is a research assistant, underwater photographer, and ocean science student at Dalhousie University. Raised in Belize, he developed a deep connection to the ocean through diving with his father from a young age.

He has contributed to marine research across both the Caribbean and Atlantic coasts, from shark tagging and coral restoration in Belize to kelp bed fieldwork in Nova Scotia. At Dalhousie University, Jack supports scientific diving, underwater data collection, and field documentation through photography and video.

His photography has been featured in research publications and outreach campaigns, blending science and storytelling to highlight the beauty and complexity of marine ecosystems.
